We have a place here named Papa Gambino's that makes a sandwich called "The Godfather". Whadda beast! 4, or 5 types of meat, 4 types of cheese, and all the veggies you can imagine on a roll that they bake fresh everyday!

My job is probably safe, but you never know. I know that when they thought about getting rid of me and by partner, they sent for a quote on how much and long it would be to create an 8 week training course for one of our call center divisions. It came back cheapest price of $800,000 and 18 months. They pay me and my partner $50,000 each per year. We did the project in 6 months. So they basicly just paid $50,000 for the same product in 6 months. We saved them $750,000 and 1 year of production time. Then repeated that 2 more times. We have 18 call center divisions, and they all need the same thing. We think we are safe, but we just don't know.

 

Not at home, but I'm snug with a guy that owns a machine shop. Why, what's up?

It is one of those companies where they expect that type of performance. Otherwise, I would already be looking for another job.

The only reason we found out about the cost/time by another company is because one of the vendors we contracted to do some work for us on another project told us that was their "winning bid" and if we had failed, they would have done the next 2.

 

I wouldn't know off the top of my head azz.

I'll hit up my machinist shops too.

I will need to check into what type of metal to use and would need the diameter of your barrell to get an accurate quote. It is a small enough part though, that the next job I contract, I could sneak it in. They just machine the parts according to the blueprints I send them. I assemble it, so they don't ask questions.
