    The rest of the thread was still onsite hayd, it was just in a mod's subforum. The servers were still supporting it. It makes no difference where it is. The problem is something totally unrelated.

    Cayne told me it makes no difference, but the size of this thread had to be categorized as long as it is in public forum, the server has to keep tabs of every post and words posted in here to do a search query. So in a ways i think it might have an affect on the forum, it was faster when the bulk of the thread was out of the public eye so the search function/forum does not have to keep the thread active, now it has to be part of every search that is queried.

    Here is another example, when i merged this thread back together last night it took 5 minutes to piece it back together, almost every thread i merge that is only a few posts in size takes mere seconds. The fact that it has to restack every post merged by time and date took it longer than all other threads. It really is an albatross in the forum. Coincidence? i don't know.
