yeah, i had him pick me 5 books he liked, while i hid snack foods and a can of soda in various places. we had treasure hunts and read books with flashlights until he was sleepy. He already told him mom(my older sister) and my brother-in-law if he can camp out with me every weekend. Thank goodness winter is coming soon, we will only be able to do this a couple more weekends at most.

Yeah but the little fucker said something that floored me. He asked me right before he fell asleep, "uncle where did you hide the rest of the snack foods?" I was like, i didn't hide any food, it could have been the snack fairy or something but he didn't buy it. He is very smart for a 5 year old. They bumped him a year ahead of his normal age group because he can read most kids books already and one of his classmate's father asked his teacher one day, "why is he in here?" The teacher asked him over and grabbed a book and asked him to read it and then the father said, "oh, he can read." I guess not many kids in his class can even do so even though they are a year older than him. He is the smallest kid in his class.

I take full credit in helping him learn how to read!
