    The first one was kind-of interesting. This one was a snooze.

    Given the personalities involved, this one had the biggest odds of one side or the other having a massive problematic moment--that makes it on the one hand good for the country (nobody was as scary as the worst-case anticipation), and on the other hand much less compelling a story than the lead-in.

    I like it from a policy POV, because I'd rather the big policy moments come from the presidential candidates than the VPs. At the same time, from a drama POV it had the chance to be really game-changing, but it wasn't.

    The previous debate I _did_ find pretty interesting, policy-wise. This one, not so much.
