you know i think it is better to give new teams a shot and let them make their own history.

That's a good point. Man the Rays have been tearing it up, everybody just keeps waiting for them to fail.

 

i am rooting for them to go all the way now thatthe cubs are out.

 

Yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing them take it all. I don't have a real rooting interest in MLB, at times it makes it nice just to see good baseball and not worry about your team winning or losing.

 

i'd love to see my a's win it again. But with such a piss poor attendance and no budget for a team that is highly doubtful. :-?

yeah but money does help. Nobody will deny it.

You know the sad thing for the cubs is depending upon who their new owners are they can get a boost in team salaries or they can get a penny pinching miser for an owner and start losing the payroll to be competetive.

This is why i am rooting for mark cuban to buy it.. he has stupid money to blow.

 

Indeed, they need someone who'll spend the money and light a fire under their asses... well I guess Sweet Lou already does the latter. But as you said money never hurts

 

yeah, i am tired of my a's constantly losing home grown talent. This year especially sucked because we traded away so many star players.

 

I hate when teams do that, just say were giving up and starting over. Guess it's a must do sometimes, but still hard to take. Hey azz do you root for da Raiders in football? What is going on with them?

 

I stopped rooting for the raiders even though they are a local team because of the way how people associate with their fans since their playoff win and super bowl loss during the 2001 season. It was sad to be associated with rioters and looters.

As far as the team, al davis is one of the dumbest owners in all of football.

 

Understandable, I used to think he was a football genius but know seriously think his lost his mind. I have a couple of friends that are diehard Raider fans, there not to happy with the past few years.

 

how can any fan be happy with the raiders that past few years? It sucked and it was utter crap!

i am watching chronicles of riddick, i love the movie but i think Karl Urban is such a lame actor. :-?

 

I thought Mike was gonna work out for them, but doesn't look like he has a future there. I'm a skins fan, actually pleased with how they've been playing of late.

 

Haven't seen that yet. Looked good though

 

I just don't like the way how he dismissed alex smith. I thought it was rather childish and lame and was a chep way to undercut his short comings as a coach.

It is a good movie if you are into sci-fi action.

 

Love sci-fi stuff, I'll have to check it out.
