Thanks PM it took me a long time to come up with something for my 6k post.

 

We've drifted into politics, paolo. :sad:

 

Got a feeling China will go for Taiwan if America go into Iran.As the american army will be too streched to do anything about it.

 

Politics can be good to chat about,instead of tits,tits and tits.

 

America will not go into Iran. It can't. Not enough soldiers.

 

I think Taiwan's nukes might have something to say about that.

And America won't go into Iran, McCain or Obama. They'll just stand back and let the Israeli's flatten the Iranian nuclear project.

And China won't move for a few years yet. And when they do, they'll do it on their terms, not when everyone else is busy.

And it'll be Vietnam.

 

The other worry is that Russia is starting to flex its muscles again.

 

Russia aren't going to do shit; they're in the cat-bird seat with the resources, and they're not going to mess with that.

At worst, they'll seek to reabsorb some of their lost Soviet states, South Ossetia style.

But that's it.

 

A very possible scenario. I personally don't think China will make an offensive, violent move anywhere. They don't have a reason to. It's possible, but I don't think it will happen. As far as Israel, that essentially would be the U.S. retaliation if Iran gets too weird, although I can't see Obama going nuts against Iran, either. I can see McCain going nuts against Iran.

 

Obama and McCain would establish two very different Americas.

 

China need resources. And they'd like to be the world's only superpower; they have imperial ambitions that will not be denied. They'll move eventually.

The `cheeseburger` trick will not work on them, no matter what people want to believe.

I can forsee a situation where McCain would do something precipitous in regards to Iran, but from a stand off position.

I expect Israel to bomb the plants fairly soon. Armanidinnerjacket might think now would be ripe to forge ahead, the US in flux, Israel about the elect a woman. He being of the mentality that women are inferior and not fit to lead.

Tell that to Golda Meir. Or Margaret Thatcher.

China and Russia are making deals to split Siberia's resources; they're not stupid enough to take each other on.

Me too. That would have terrible consequences, too, even with UN support.

I think the U.S. still has too much influence over Israel. Israel has been threatening, but it's just not the smart thing to do. And they would face the wrath of the U.S., too. Again, I'm going to hedge, because obviously nobody knows for sure what is going to happen.
