I've always preferred SVU, but i quite like Criminal Intent.

Never really got into the `mothership` show. Came across a little preachy at times.

 

I'm back - 6 y/o daugter just developed allergies My son has been allergic to peanuts all his life but hers just developed. Didn't know that was possible. We gotta get her tested now to see exactly what she's allergic to.

Has she developed a peanut allergy? Because i didn't think you could just `get` that.

Allergies do come and go; when i was a moppet, i was allergic to tetanus. Not anymore.

Although, thinking as i type, my mum decided that the doc who gave me the injection i reacted to as a moppet fucked up the dose or something, hence the reaction.

 

Peanut allergy is the worst though. I used to work in a food factory back in the day, making salads and mayonnaise based products, and the shit you have to do whenever anything nut based is involved. Cleaning, utensils, containers, more cleaning.

Rightly so, because every so often, one of the training team would find some story in a paper, about some poor soul who ordered a dip or something at a restaurant and didn't realise it had nuts in it.

 

We've got to get her tested, not sure what it is yet. Yes, we've had a awful experience with my oldest son when we first found out he was allergic to peanuts - we def. know how dangerous it can be.

That's what confuses me, I didn't know you could just develop a food allergy. I thought you were born with them and sometime grew out of them after a while.

 

But i always thought blood allergies were there from the start, genetic like.
