David ortiz hitting that home run was in line with the commercial he made about "never giving up" it was coming as soon as they aired that commercial the inning before he hit it.

yeah if you remember I didn't really start posting until around the first week of January I believe. or was it December of '07?

it was the first 7 months I was here I was just another lurker.

 

I like that he'll state the obvious:

yeah, a good apple pie rocks. If you're rushed, make the filling and pour some muffin mix over the top--it's not as good, but it's still freaking tasty. Or forget the mix entirely, make the apple filling and pour it over some vanilla ice cream.

And yeah, a pie is a lot better. But don't be a slave to one way of doing things; figure out some tasty blend and use it incessantly.
