They're talking about wild turkeys Mage. This country is littered with them. You'd be hard pressed to hunt them to extinction.

 

It would seem that Ol' Ben and I have more in common then I would have thunk.

 

I used to hunt turkey back when I hunted. They're smart - contrary to popular belief. I don't know how many times i'd see them and wait for a more clear shot and the damn things seem to disapear in thin air.

Oh yeah, I saw it. They did have something to prove after Ol' Miss beat them. It worked too, they moved them back up to #5 in the polls.

As i've said before, i'll worry every week - it's in my genes

I missed it, sorry. Having a few more issues so i'm not catching all of the conversations here. Yes, it's on CBS @ 2:30 CST. Not sure if will be on up there though CBS tends to broadcast different games in different regions.

I don't hunt anymore but we always ate what we killed. Wild turkey taste a lot different than the "grain fed" turkey you buy in the store - they're very good.

 

Actually all them fuckers were drunk back then. Drinking prodigious amounts of wine was fairly common among the social elite because drinking water wasn't even considered an option in those days for city dwellers. This country was liberated and established by a bunch of rebelious, wine fueled brigands and slave mongers!

I think i's funny that in retrospect that we look back and call them patriots because they were anything but. True patriots respected the British crown. Franklin and Hancock and the others were the worst kind of rabble rousers in the eyes of the Brits. God love 'em!

Florida keeps playing like they did last week and the BCS title is over for everyone else. I'd like to see them play USC.

 

They are very smart, and mean! Especially in groups/flocks/whatever.

I've had to get out of my truck to shoo the bastards out of the road, and they get pissy as hell!

The fact that she's humping around an extra two hundred pounds, or so on the front end has nothing to do with it I'm sure.

 

What sells are easy to follow ideas that don't offend anyone and are therefore bland, spruced up with pretty people to superficially enhance the product. That formula applies to damn near everything now days. :?
