Chicago (fortunately) isn't as dependent on rust-belt industry as Detroit, either.

How much did it cost the American taxpayers to impeach Clinton for getting a blowjob?

    Don't call me beeb.
I wasn't talking about the 'date', I was talking about anonymous lurking.

BTW, nothing is impossible. The date could've happened hours ago, offline, in a place convenient to both of us. You assume too much. ;)
    Ever been to Calumet?

I was going to get into all that, 'cause I know many of Chicagoland's realities, but I figured you'd know that I know. And I know that you know that I know. :?

you forgot, that would meant that you made this account and never logged into it at home. which i don't think you were clever enough to do. besides the hours you two have been on prior and after this supposed date took place would still be impossible to pull off due to the small time window it would have to taken place. Like i said, still impossible, why you want to try to entertain this idea i have no clue. ;)

Mine was a bad comparison, except for the cost to try to bring down a politician. Kilpatrick (the former Detroit Mayor) was as crooked as an old stick. They got him and tackled him. We paid. Same old political story.

that is why i said he made detroit the laughing stock of the nation, i don't have to live there to know you guys have had a ton of problems with crooked politicians for about a decade now? if it isn't the city council members taking bribes it is the mayor doing something stupid.

No, as it shouldn't have. The whole thing was a farce. :?

He knew better than to try to micromanage the economy, a policy he stole from the Republicans at the time, much to their chagrin - they couldn't take credit for it! :p

Still, the I-business bubble balloned during his administration, another example of lack of government oversight - which in this case is unfortunately understandable because no one on Capitol Hill knew fuck all about what was going on. :? As I've stated before, our government spends an aweful lot of time playing catch up with the private sector. It's difficult to recruit qualified people to agree to a paycut and work for a government salary.

    Gotcha. ;)
