Global warming doesn't mean the climate gets hotter doofus. Besides, snow in October at your latitude isn't exactly unheard of.

Notice I said global warming/climate change. Just covering my bases. When I was a kid...an ice age (i.e global cooling) was inevitable. Then it was global warming. When that was debunked it became climate change, so all angles were covered. I've lived here year round since I was 10, and have been coming here since I was two. I have no recollection of snow in October dude.

 

Just found out someone tried to break into my mom's house last night. The cops caught the guy on her porch.

 

I'm not going to get into the whole global warming issue because I don't understand it well enough to discuss it sensibly, however, climate change is a fact of nature. It's always changing and it always has. There's some pretty cool stuff at the NASA website that goes into what's currently happening and how it will affect the global climate without being preachy or political. Strictly scientific stuff. As far as your recollection goes, you drink alot dude. I'm not puttin much stock in it!!

Yeah. She's 80, so she's a little rattled, though. She lives in a pretty nice suburb -- it's not a common occurrence where she lives.
