yeah but the night stand gets locked when i am not at home. it is only open at night time when i go to bed.

Question, anybody know how odften the spring in the magazine is suppose to be changed if it is kept loaded 1 shy of the maximum number of rounds? I always keep 9 rounds in a 10 round magazine cause i feel it might make the spring last longer but it has been 2 years since i last changed it. I cycle it once a month to make sure all the rounds still load but would hate to need that 9th and last round when it counts most.

 

i once cocked a 12 guage shotgun on some dude standing in my backyard. He ran so i didn't want to shoot him in the back, police came and took a report but i doubt they did anything. I would like to think they would if the description i gave matches any potential stalker or rapist in the area but there was none at that time.

Depends on the quality of the spring, what guage wire it is, etc. I wouldn't bother short loading your clips if I were you. If it takes more than five rounds to take care of business you're probably in over your head anyway.

so after 2 years should i change them out even if they can fully cycle all 9 rounds? or not worry about it since it can cycle at least 5 rounds easily.
