    I have a 37 inch sharp Aquios in my room, i think it is crap compared to the pioneer units i have. I'd never buy another sharp again. :-?

    well if you can comparison shop then do so with your own eyes. All i can tell you is my sharp is far inferior than my pioneer units. And i do mean a noticable difference. The only reason why i bought the sharp was because i was given a 5 finger discount of only 500 bucks for it almost 2 years ago. That and i didn't want to burn my plasmas by hooking it up to my computer.

    what you want to look for is the response time. Most HD television sets you will not notice a difference when the camera is panning slow, but you will totally see the difference when it is a fast pace action flick. With the crappy models like my sharp i can actually see the pixels lag on regular DVD's. On blu-ray discs i don't get such a problem. But regardless you want something that doesn't show pixels when you are watching a fast pace action movie.

    Ideally play the same movie on both televisions and if they can be compared side by side that would be best.
