    Thinking about another (cheap) firearm purchase tomorrow Jaymez..........

    Yugoslavian SKS. Semi-auto, fires 7.62mm/.308 rounds, and I can get 30 round banana clips/magazines for it. I like my women, like I like my guns......reliable, and cheap! :p

    If things go "proper"...I can get it for about a bill, and a half w/the bayonet. :D

    I looked at another "Slav" version today online that was setup for a damn grenade launcher! :shock: Obviously, that's not an option, but the outfit that was selling it wanted about $350 for it. Too expensive. My local gun shop has the "Slav", and the Russian versions for next to nothing. Extremely common weapons. :D

    And most are 40+ years old. The way I understand it (and I'm sure Azz could correct me if I'm wrong) they are the predecessor to the AK-47. The one I looked at this morning was "unissued", and still packed in the cosmoline!
