Rally was what i used to be interested in, but they don't show it on TV anymore, unaccountably. That and something we call `Touring Car`, which is just road cars souped up going around an F1 style track. They can't bump each other, but the odd scrape is allowed.

And the crashes are usually fairly impressive.

I remember when one team started using the Volvo 850 Estate car, and everyone laughed because of this big long honking thing, on a race track? Blew everyone away; aerodynamics of the elongated body made it perfect for whipping around a track.

So much so they had to alter the rules and remove estates from competition. So they just switched to the hatchback version.

As an aside, you nearly got my vote for Member of the year but were narrowly edged out by YoungHussyAlex. That 1K in 24 (22!) hrs wasn't quite as impressive as her ass though.

They don't `do` the big crashes in F1 anymore; the car might get shot to shit, but the cockpit remains undamaged and unbent. Which, in Aryton Senna's memory, is a pretty good thing.
Touring car crashes are always good, them being basically proper cars. I once saw a car flip over a ten foot race fence into the field beyond. Driver got out and the cameras caught him doubletaking between the fence and his car.
