I don't really follow tennis.

 

Just the feminines. Well, the feminine feminines. And the ball girls. Or those fucking models they use as ball girls in Spain.

 

I liked it.

I have no issue with tennis, at the pro level it can be quite compelling, I just don't follow it.

 

I don't follow it per se, but as a moppet, my mother would take over our only tv (other than a shitty little black and white in the dining room) for two weeks of every year to watch Wimbledon. Thusly, i picked up a passing interest.

Then hair started growing in all sorts of places and the women's game took on a whole new meaning for me.

 

I'm not a fan under the expansion of the word back to it's original form of any sport, really. But i know just enough to not seem like too much of a twat in my armchair if i pass a comment or two.

 

I liked Martina Hingis. Until those brute Williams sisters showed up she was the one to watch. She played with so much finesse it was fascinating.

 

Sabatini was my interest as a boy. For obvious reasons.

Those reasons are occupied by Maria Sharapova now, for equally obvious reasons, lesbian or no.

No. I've always wanted to get the whole Brittanica but it has never been either a top priority, or in the budget. I'd like to have the complete OED as well, come to that. I do own a computer though. Access.

I like watching sports. Lord knows I've seen more than my fair share of games of all kinds with my mother controlling the TV as a kid and then into my own sports junkie years. It's just that anymore I don't follow them with any kind of interest that can be described as driven. Occasional baseball games and the NFL are pretty much it for me in the arena of sports these days.

 

Gotcha. There were the tennis players I liked to watch, and the tennis players I liked to watch.

 

I'd like to watch Anna Kournikova blow y.......
