Hey, Americans; on the BBC website, they've got this interactive map of states declared/to declare, but Alaska doesn't have any numbers, or precincts counted, or anything; why is that?

I would be very surprised if Palin won Alaska.

 

Alaska's (and Hawaii's) polls have one more hour before they close. Exit polls show it going to McCain/Palin however. Surprise.

 

I know McCain and Palin discussed drilling in the Arctic Wildlife National Reserve and a lot of people up North are against that. sure they are very far from where I am but they are still up North.

Yeah, but Hawaii on the BBC website has some voting percentages on it and has declared for Obama (shockingly ); Alaska is still blank. Thus, the confusion.

 

It's also unecessary. We don't need that oil (yet). BP?Amaco just wanys to make more money off of it.

Aalska has two time zones. their numbers are just coming into play here too. As for Hawaii, it was a forgone conclusion that it would go Obama. He was born there you know.
