    complete amateur, but i have always have a camera my whole life. I would like to get a 2.8 lens for my dslr and a longer telephoto for the nature pics that i like to take when out hunting.

    Cool. A friend of mine is sort of a semi pro. He started for fun, invested a small fortune in lenses and tripods, and can now sell his pics to magazines.

    He once told me that one shouldn't accept compromises when it comes to lenses. Always buy what best fits your purpose, cause all the "2 in 1" solutions will dissapoint you and you'll spend even more on the lenses...

    i already have 2 lens, need 2 more. If i was looking for such a solution i would have just said i was looking for 1 lens, not two. I know about such compromises bud. ;)
