    They're far better stayers than our horses, primarily because we are obsessed with speed here.

    The Melbourne Cup is the worlds richest handicap, so we often get horses from England, France, Ireland and Japan.

    It's run over 2 miles, which is the longest race in the country, whereas your horses regularly run over 4000m (20 furlongs) or longer, so they're generally much tougher than our horses, but lack the turn of foot to win the Melbourne Cup.

    Despite being played here, there is no real interest because we're bitchslapping everyone.

    I'm only interested in all the Melbourne Storm boys playing (Cameron Smith, Billy Slater, Greg Inglis, Israel Folau etc.).
