Nobody outside of Chicagoland (or the tri-state area anyways) understands the term I soon discovered.

 

We've been Americanised (in terms of food) in the last 15 years, and the obesity problems have followed.

It's incredibly sad, but all we do is continue to educate and hope people are responsible about their eating in future.

Today was the first time (i had a beautiful Mediterranean Lamb pizza for dinner) i had takeaway food in about two months.
I love the stuff, but it makes me feel like shit, and it means i have to run even further the next day to burn it off.

On the whole we're a pretty happy, contented and laidback group, and so we should be, because we live in a beautiful place with beautiful weather and as much free space as you'd ever want (in terms of physical size, we're roughly as big as America, yet have about 1/12 the population, in fact, California has about 14 million more people than the entire country of Australia).

The US tends to export its most insidious aspects of our culture. I think people are waking up to the fact.

I don't have an excersize regimen per se, but if I stay active I tend to keep the weight down. Walking has helped alot in that regard.

The US has vast swaths of spaces that are fairly unpopulated - the midwest and Rocky Mountain areas in particulas - but they're comfortably inhabitable, unlike much of the Australian interior. If you should visit here again you might consider driving around Wyoming. I think you'll be impressed with what's to be found there.

I'm actually doing pretty much the same thing, except my cheeto's aren't flaming hot, and my beer tastes and looks like coffee

I never touch the stuff. I get my caffiene from Dr. Pepper or Coke. I love the smell of ground coffee but I can't stand the taste. Odd huh?

 

Not really. It's kind of strange, the smell of ground coffee and the taste of coffee isn't as much alike as you'd think.

I really want some Dr. Pepper now
