    Up in north Sweden they don`t use salt either, only sand. It`s much better for the car and up there the the snow often stays, so it`s a great surface to drive on.

    The snow doesn't really last here. And it's not your typical sand, it kinda has an orange clay base. Sorta like a pitcher's mound. Once it starts to melt it looks a lot like shit splashed on everything. The only good thing is it's not corrosive.
