    1. We need to find that girl.
    2. It seems like your family is a big deal in your extended community Inuk.

My family is the same sort of. Under my mother's maiden name i'm known as a Beattie (clan name). I couldnt count the number of times people i dont know have come up and told me that there is no mistaking a beattie. We all look the fucking same.

Inuk thats mental. i totally understand why your family is so importnat to you, it seems that your lot have still stuck to the tribal aspect of life (which sadly is becoming less imprtant here). I have a family that i can extend to that reaches numbers of maybe 60 or 70 and no more.

But then friends are family too and i consider my close friends as part of that.

you know what really sucks Jamms, is when we have a suicide in the family.

I DETEST suicide, I've had over 40 or 50 friends and family who done themselves in.

times I've seen them 30 minutes before they do it. I see a family member crying and ask whats up, they tell me so and so committed.

they looked normal when I was talking to them.

    so weird.

that's why I hate it. Family is super important to us.

one of my Friends was in a snowmobile accident today. was out hunting 30 miles out of town, broke his face. was flown out by MEDIVAC (medical evacuation) by plane to Edmonton. I know his Parents, they may be out for a while, the gov't is paying for them to go down and be with them. I gave them 500 dollars. I told the Father it's not a loan. just take it as they may be down there a while.

haven't heard how he is yet.

My uncle Jim was my first MA instructor, he started me on Judo when i was a wee boy and he hung himself when he found out his wife was cheating on him. It was mental as he was (and still is) th strongest man i have ever known.

    Ever worn a kilt anyone?

Sorry to hear that dude :(

I've never worn a kilt before, I've always wondered what it'd be like. I figured it'd be similar to when I walk around in just a towel. Except it'd be plaid.

    TARTAN!!!!

Kilts are way heavier than folks think they are. Modern kilts are like skirts though, total chickfest. I wouldn't swap my kilt for fucking anything.

the most annoying thing about a kilt is people hitching it up to see if you are a real scotsman.

they all need a slap. any of you lot got any traditional dress?
