    I really didn't study the ballots much before I counted them. I kept seeing my name under spammer of the year but that was about it, so I figured I'd do pretty well on that one.     the reason I am a little blown away as I usually only come into the general and celebrity section of the board.

    I was happy to receive 2 votes for best content in celebrities. I try but the others can be hard to beat at times. I just give input there when I can.

    I don't even try to compete with pic posters. I don't have the sources or the inclination. Too lazy. ;)

    Verbal input is what won the day otherwise. I got 6 awards and two honorable mentions all because I have 23000 posts in such a short time. That's alot of contact with other members, I need not tell you. I feel that's why we did so well. On the other hand, I can't explain why ares didn't do better. :p ;) There was a while there I thought he was going to take No. 1 in spammer of the year. He was actually leading or tied for most of the count, until the last 15 or so ballots.
