Had an occasion like that @ the "Asylum" in Portland with Zakk Wylde, and Nick Cantonese (Black Label Society). Got to hang with them/have beers for about a half an hour before the show. Zakk blew in with the viking helmet on, and he, and Nick signed the ol' lady's chest, and her girlfriend's ass! He told me to "make sure you fuck that off her bro" and we swilled a few before they hit the stage. Best show I've ever been to. To see that man play guitar/sing in a 10 by 10 room is something you'll never forget.

i find catholic schools are much stricter, my friends went to public schools and got away with murder. i hated how it was strict but now i am glad because i have much more dicipline and manners than my friends do. which has gotton me a lot further in life. the schools they went to let them run riot and had no control which turned out bad for most of them.

 

Yeah, different strokes.... I don't get involved in the radical stuff

There are only 3 public schools in my area worth anything. Private is the way to go.

I went the jesuit way in college. Saint Joseph's University in Philly. Great time and great education.

by the way i wasn't in private school. it was a public school, but catholic.

 

Same for me. I went to public school then switched to Catholic. Like night and day. It took me a year to adjust and not act like a dumbass. The Nuns hated me.

 

this new keyboard is great. it cost e20 and is probably the best keyboard i've ever used. the mouse is top notch too.

Yeah, we have both. The public catholic schools don't measure up to the private ones, although they cost a fraction of what the private ones cost

 

I enrolled at Loyola in New Orleans once upon a time, but it never went any farther than that (Long story short; lack of $$$). Private is definitely the way to go if you can afford it.

Scribe, how was the snow storm? You've had more snow in LV then I've had in Philly over the past year.

 

I'm agnostic, so if I have a kid I want to keep religion separate from school.

 

HS will be cheap compared to what College costs now. I think Villanova charges close to 50 grand, including room/board.

 

double sigh. at least i have a few years to save. unless more pop out.
