    Thats the best. Got tired of going somewhere and spending 2X the normal to drink and eat. Good times, but they can still be had just hanging with friends and loved ones.

    Just took some Excedrin tension headaches to start off with. Those are nice. Not exactly opiates though.

    There's 2 bars within a 3 minute walk of my front door that I could go to, usually with a free potluck buffet at one of them, and drink specials to boot, but I have no intention of going any further than my fridge for beers and ice cold vodka.

    About a quarter million people will be visiting Vegas today, getting hijacked bythe casinos and clubs on the strip, and they're welcome to it. Fighting the fuckin crowds ain't worth it.
    Just ain't the same when your not here to participate. :)

    It sounds like you have whatever I had a couple weeks ago. I felt miserable, but it didn't last but a day, so maybe you'll be over it soon.
    Shit economy to change professions, unless you have a medical certificate and want to be a nurse.

    Home or friends place is the best for New Years. So many cops out- have 2 drinks and spend the night in jail.

    I do- or did a couple years ago- have a paramedic license - did it for something new and don't really like it- can't work with sick and dying people all day.
