    Just of note. Apple's new iphone has a feature called Shazzam. What you do is let Shazzam listen to (sample) a song for 20 seconds and then it surfs the internet until it finds the song, which it then identifies by title, artist and what album it's on, and where it can be purchased.

    Could you imagine if there was an image recognition search engine like that available? We'd never wonder who anybody was ever again if they were on the net somewhere.

    It doesn't work for songs covered by unknown band, but anything on the radio or a jukebox...

    Yeah, there is image recognition software they use for searching their criminal files, but it would be nice if it was a feature of google image search. ;)
