My flights are usually only 2 - 2 1/2 hours so it's usually only 2 drinks max. LOL @ Becks, all flights are as Forrest says "Life is like a box of choclates..." I

I've never flown 1st class - hell most of the flights I go on don't even have it, I take a lot of the smaller planes.

And yeah, I was wondering who Meg was too.

 

We've got Johnson Controls here, not sure if you've heard of them or not. But the guys can get to whatever they need from home. They usually only have to come in if something really bad happens.

 

Our one venture into the world of first class flight was ( I think) the result of over booking. I had a grin from my sack to my fivehead when they said we were going to be bumped up, so I didn't ask what caused it. When we got home after the trip, I priced it out. This took place at Logan in Boston. The flight was from there to Jacksonville, Florida on a 757. The first class cost per person was almost $1500 p/p ffs! :shock: Our round trip cost was about $400 a piece, and we got to live like Paris fucking Hilton for a couple hours.

Yeah, we have Johnson up here as well, but our Johnson deals mostly with HVAC type shit. Might not be the same operation.

There are several municipalities around us that have tasty SCADA systems, and supply their guys with laptops, cell phones, and pagers so they can be home on the weekends. Not us though..........my boss has City Hall convinced that we "need to be manned 24/7". Uninformed douchebaggery, and full on suck pumpery, with hopes of recognition, awards/medals being the end result. Your typical municipal hack operation.

I'm not sure, I was under the impression that the Johnson system they had could monitor all their equipment. I don't know, I just keep the server running.

It used to be that way here too but they figured out it cost a hell of a lot less to pay someone call pay than to man the place. Sounds like money isn't what they're worried about there, it's paying favors.

Jesus my day has been shit......I earlier downloaded what I thought was a DIVX rip of "Valyrie". Come to find out, it was a version not unlike the Seinfeld episode where the guy was bootlegging flicks by filming them with a camcorder FFS!

I start watching it, and the next thing I know some asshole walks in front of the camera on the way to his seat!

Jesus Markus....I only just recently watched "Saving Sarah Marshall", and I gotta say, I have yet to see a picture of Mila that does her justice. She looked so fucking beautiful/stunning in that movie that it gave me quivers in the nether regions.
