Was gonna hit the town tonight but just wasn't fellin it, so I sat around watching Dark Knight with my roomies. Pretty good flick.

Getting back to normal somewhat, the best you can after a family member passes away. But on a good note my brother was having health issues, but it just turned out to be stress. He had to go through a shit load of tests before they determined that was all it was though.

 

I guess its good. I feel like a panfull of smashed assholes.

That's good to hear about your brother. Something similar happened to me some years ago. My health deteriorated rapidly until they figured out I was suffering from anxiety. No idea what brought it on, but it was sort of a dark period in my life. I hope he gets better.

I haven't had a drink since new years day. No particular reason, just haven't.

Indeed his doing fine now, just with his kids and all he really gave us a scare. My cousin was put into a hospice in Nov. and past away just a day or two before New Years, but we're trying to move on as best we can.

Very true. It's inevitable but still hard to grasp.

Not an easy transition, but how was your holidays, get any goodies?

 

Been there, didn't like it, don't look forward to the next time. But death is part of life, we deal with as best we can - each in our own way. I never really give out advice to others who have suffered a loss, because it always come out sounding lame or cliched. Enough said, I guess.

The highlight of my holidays was watching my kid's face light up with every new christmas gift she got. I bought her her first bike. She was totally jazzed! Although, it could be because it was covered with Disney princesses. Ariel, Jasmin, Snow White.

 

Yeah, watching my niece and nephew on Christmas morning was great. He's 2 and loves pirates and tractors and got a shitload of both. My niece was funny as hell, she asked how I read her mind when she opened hers up.

 

Fuckin little kids are a joy to watch!
