    Well I'm not a fan of the job (but then again who is) you freeze in the winter, burn up in the summer not to mention the aforementioned injuries. But my dad (who is supposed to be retired) needs help an I don't want to think what would happen if he was out in the woods alone, so I just do what I can to help

    last year one of the Ramp Rats was out marshalling a plane. it started taxing out for departure, he started walking to the Air Terminal Building. the plane was only 100 feet from him, as he went behind it powered up even more.

    *WOOOOSH* he was sent 20 feet in the air and over 120 feet back. he was hurt pretty bad. he was lucky there was some loose snow the Maintenance Staff couldn't finish clearing as the plane was on the ramp. he hit it. was still hurt though.

    he was an asshole, but he didn't deserve that. he was off for 2 months. he should have known better, he was the fucking base manager!
