    I'm a little bit in awe of Dakota Fanning; she's scarily talented for how old she is. She totally stole the screen from Denzel Washington in Man on Fire, and she's been pitch perfect in everything i've ever seen her in.

    I hope not; a dose of realism is what keeps these films alive.

    You stray too close to the toy or the comic book, you'll keep the core but you'll lose potential new viewers. Look at GI Joe; ditched the toy costumes 'cos they're unrealistic on screen.

    Batman Begins and Casino Royale were successful in reinvigorating franchises precisely because they kept it rooted in the real world. Same with Iron Man.

    I'm being assidious in avoiding spoilers or boards. I went almost blind, save for the trailers, into Transformers, and had a whale of a time.

    I did the same for Casino Royale, so was thus thrilled when Felix Leiter popped up in the guise of Jeffery Wright; i had no clue Leiter was even being brought back.
