No, it's pretty good too. The problem with all above mentioned is that that are freeware - they don't have loads of software engineers working round the clock like the bigger named programs do. Sometimes it takes them a little longer to figure out the fixes on them and in different order. I can bet you a dime to a donut hole that you can run Spybot then turn around and run CC and it will find things to be removed. The next day reverse the order that you run them and the same thing will happen. The smart thing to do is have more than one running and run them on a daily basis.

I see that. I made my comment earlier - all I see is you all banging your heads against wall getting nowhere. Just like every other racial, religous, or political discussion that gets started on here turns out. That's why my last comment was to leave it be. People will end up taking a comment wrong and get their feelings hurt before it's over with. Just my 2 cents

 

Nah, I run spybot maybe once a week. The system (WindowsXP) has been running smoothely for over 2 years now without any need to reinstall.

I just try to keep important private data from the net. No online banking for me for example.

I don't run it at all myself. I set up in scheduled task to run in the evening and forgot about it. Along with my virus software that does daily scans. It's not so much for protection, we have a very strick firewall here - it more for maintaining system speed.

I'm a lover not a fighter. Nah, seriously I made my point in the thread already - if I added more to it it would only be repeating something I already said.
