i think the nba refs do an incredible job, as fast as the games played to get the calls right as often as they do is amazing

You can take all the steroids you want to help you crush the ball when you hit it, but they won't actually help your eye-hand coordination. Once a strike out king, always a strike out king. Only proper coaching can help fix that.

 

Like i said, they exact influence on the game, you see it in all major sports. That is why i view it as entertainment and never seriously enough to actually wager money on it when i know there are some predetermined outcome to the game already in play.

If you want me to list examples of football how about the non-booth review on the last cardinals play during the superbowl? Many people saw that as a forward pass wich would have made it a dead ball. Instead it was quickly rushed as a fumble and snapped so the steelers can kneel down on that play to end it. Or how about alot of the bullshit non-calls on the steelers for using the football as a prop in endzone celebration, or some of the penalty calls against the cardinals. You can't possibly tell me that alot of the calls were made against just one team and not the other. But then again i do believe you said you were to drunk near the end of the superbowl to remember any of this, how convenient.

 

its got to be a huge pain in the ass dealing with people when you make a call against their team

 

but when you connect it can mean a difference between a pop-up vs. a home run. the statistics of the steroid era proved that.

if thats the case then why didnt the patriots win, they could have called the tyree catch incomplete, it would have been considered a horrible call but still, although i agree that it was bs that they didnt review the last play but still, rothlisberger didnt get the help in the final drive to score i dont think so i give the steelers credit

Parents just think their kids in better then they really are or when the Ref lets a walk go without a call. We are talking 7 & 8th Grade "B" team basketball.
