if an industry as big as the NFL was knowingly allowing the outcome of games to be affected one way or another the sports analysts wouldnt be the ones investigating theyd have legitimate reporters looking into it, while it would hurt the sports casters, whoever reported it would have one hell of a story

I wasn't saying that steroids were being used provide one team an advantage over the other. Rather that the league & management looked the way because the increased number of home runs brought an excitement which sparked increased attendance & TV viewership which in term benefited the sport economically. It seems pretty clear that steroid use was so widespread that all (or most) teams benefited.

 

every news organization from print to video have a sports section to worry about. Why else do you think the sports is always reported last in any newscast? It is their biggest draw so why would they lob off an entire segment of their news organization?

 

i love frying the flower tortillas and making them into hard shells myself. those are the best if you gonna make home made tacos.

 

all the good players that were now better because of steroids got picked up by 1 team. Look how many the yankees signed up and how well they did during the steroids era. After mandatory steroid testing took affect all those bloated contracts of these abusers were exposed and look what happened to the yankees.

i still think somebody would look into it, but more likely the NFL would most likely deal with it behind closed doors find out whos affecting the games and get rid of them without raising any eyebrows, like ive said the risk is too big to sweep it under the rug

ok then tell me how many "legitimate" non-sports news casters investigated or reported on tim donaghy's charges that the league was rigged? I counted just 2 yahoo sports reporter wrote briefly on it and they both dismissed the charges laid out against the league without doing any investigation of their own.
