Two sports I've never bet on.

Handlers and vets can certainly have an influence on a horses performance, but at the thoroughbred level you'd be hard pressed to find someone willing to take to many chances with the horse's health. They just cost too much money and have so few opportunities to prove their worth. Jockeys however can manipulate the animals pace without anyone being the wiser.
