    I was in the entertainment business in the Detroit area for many years. What I'd do if I were you is march into 2 or 3 local radio stations (including your Public Radio Station) and offer to intern for free. You'll make connections.

    Well I know a lot of connections already the problem is the size of the town I am in doesn't have a lot of entertainment venues. The closest is St. Lois.
