    Seems like all my life. Started in HS. We had a lunch time band session in school, sponsored by one of the teachers. btw I was graduated in 1985.

    1988 here. I used to play (alto) sax. Started in 4th grade, and played through high school. Used to do pretty well at all the district, and state competitions too. Not really sure why I gave it up/let it slide. :(

    I never did any real competition, battle of the bands stuff occasionally but guitar was just another outlet for a hyper kid who never slept.

    I took piano lessons when I was 7. Hated every second of it. But I would compose my own tunes on the keyboard. I took up drums when I was 9. Then WW II happened. (Okay, I'm not that old. :lol: )
