  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    And i was keeping it up to date...till a worm killed Norton!!!

    Norton makes pcs as slow as death....

    I'd probably only use the likes of Norton if I had a very powerful PC. I happen to be one of those people that tweaks mine to the max to get it running as quick as possible.

    There's always a risk no matter what software you're using. The new worms/viruses have to be released before the difinition file can be updated. But yes, if you're running real-time protection it can make a difference but it shouldn't be much. I run real-time but its Symantec and I can't tell any difference.

    True. We have very strict rules in place on our firewall but yet every now and then a new virus will sneak through. Just have to use your common sense.

    Can't speak for the whole of the country but I'm good thanks Magge. Got some time off so I'm having a drink tonight. My girlfriends been away but is back on Saturday so I'm looking forward to that, and as for Easter, I hadn't even thought about it until you mentioned it. Not really a religious man but I may eat some chocolate.
