Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     British, English and European purely on the basis of geography, certainly not choice.

    When travelling, I found the best way to quickly and cleanly explain it to, sorry, Americans was compare it to the USA's `states and nation`. California is a state, but Californians are also Americans.

    'Course, I usually did it a bit more condescendingly. :wink:

    You mustn`t be mad at Germans not knowing the difference between the UK and England, for in German it`s more or less standard to say England when talking about the UK ;)

    However, when you visit a foreign country, these things should be checked BEFORE you head off to get your head kicked in :lol: :p
