    I hated all the Batman movie in the last franchise. Tim Burton actually said that "anyone who knows him knows that he would never read a comic book" and he was chosen to direct fucking batman!!!

    The 60's movie is intentionally hilarious though but you cannot beat the new ones. Way more like Batman is.

    In the bottom of the last inning, if the home team is behind, if gives them 1 last chance in front of their home crowd.

    Designated hitter is used in the American League. Pitchers are notoriously poor hitters -- they spend all their time practicing pitching. The AL allows a specialist-hitter to bat in the pitchers spot. AL pitchers never bat unless they are playing a National League team in the NL team's home stadium.

    Baseball sounds C.O.M.P.L.I.C.A.T.E.D!!

    I sometimes watch baseball on late night sports over here and it's filled with graphics telling me about stats of the games and players but the fuckers never take the time to tell you what RBI or any of those things are so i just have to sit and guess.

    It's late night sport so they all think "If he's watching late night american sport in the UK then he must already know the rules" which doesn't help people learn new games.

    I played softball at school but the teacher basically just told me to either hit, catch or run. That was it.
