13, 10, and 7 - and yes it was aweful. I had been looking so forward to that for weeks. We all made the best of it though, we stayed down town Memphis for a little while, there's loads of things to do. It started getting to wild on the streets for my kids though so we had to cut it short. I'll know better next time.

 

yep, I told them there were all full of shit - didn't seem to matter to them. They had a huge crowd there.

When I walked around the corner and seen a college girl with a skimpy 2 piece bikini on selling Jello shooters I knew it was time to go.

Last time we wen't Memphis was fine too - it was just because the Music Festival was there that it was so wild down town. Beale street can get wild at night but normally even it is more than safe to take your family down during the day. Like I said, lesson learned - I didn't know what to expect, now I do.

i refused to enter graceland when i´ve been in memphis - thought it was way too expensive (okay, never been a die hard elvis fan).

damn hockey. we are lucky to host the campionship next yeart, otherwise we were relegated.

 

$34 USD/per - which wasn't a bad price, there was several big name bands there. Had my kids been teenagers I would've been happy to pay it.

Same here, the line was backed up ~ 3 blocks outside the gate. I wanted to go in just to say I have but not a big enough fan to pay, much less wait that long to go through. Besides, I was not impressed at the size of the house - from movies it looked MUCH larger than in real life.
