How was "Wolverine" by the way? (without giving anything away) ;)

    Would you recommend seeing it?

Growing up he was my absolute favorite superhero, I collected the comics persistently too. I even spent $50 for a copy of the first Wolverine comic put out, and when you're 8-9 years old that's a lot of money! :p

I'll probably go see it, if not in theaters then definitley on Blu-Ray.

lol nah, I actually don't drink

in regards to Wolverine...if you like the X-Men flicks, you'll probably like it. I didn't think it was a perfect movie and it had some major flaws in my eyes, but with that said I still enjoyed it over all and thought it was a lot of fun, Hugh Jackman rocks as Wolverine.

I thought the movie was much better than X3...so it's worth checking out

    Evening James! How's it going?

Oh really? I respect that in a big way, good on ya! And you'll outlive us all because of it! :p

I still have all my comics, but for the past 6-7 years record collecting has been my only fixation.

I'll definitley keep all my Wolverine comics, but the rest I'll end up selling at some point I think.

Some of my prized Wolverine ones though include:

What do you collect; comic wise?

Sweet books dude. Steve McNiven recently did a "cover" of that cover for a collection book

I've always been a bigger DC fan over Marvel, so I have more of those, but I'd say in the last 6 months or so I've found I've been getting more Marvel cause I just haven't been liking the writing that DC's been doing.

I have a lot of Batman books since he's my absolute favorite. I have a lot of Star Wars and Star Trek books too.

I only have about 1200 books...which is small compared to a couple of my friends :p

That's an awesome re-working of that cover, it's a classic for sure!

I was always a Marvel guy myself, but shit 1,200 books!

That's pretty damn impressive to me, I mean I'm sure there's guys out there with 10,000's, but still. I bet you I have a total of 300 altogether.

Keep with it man, I think everyone should have a collection of something. It's healthy!

Of course. Hehehe. We're all "geek" to something, I think. Some prefer collect books, other prefer figures. We all have a collection.

have you read "Wolverine: Origin"? It's a really great story and Kubert did a really sweet job on the art front

collecting stuff is indeed fun, for me it's comics and movies

I totally got the collecting bug from my Dad, he's been collecting stamps and stamp related stuff for decades

and back in the day I used to collect Star Wars figures, I think I have about 300 lol I haven't bought any in years though :p

I haven't read that, is it like a comic or more or a illustrated novel?

I'll have to check it out next time I'm by the record store, since it's inside a comic shop.

Did you leave them in the packaging? ;)

    http://www.amazon.com/Wolverine-Ori...=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1241581147&sr=1-2

It was a 4 (I think) issue miniseries, but it's been collected into a trade, which I have. You should get it ;)

lol when I was a kid, I didn't, I took em out and set em up and made dioramma's and stuff :p

though when I started up again between '05-'07 and I kept em in the packaging cause the design was just really cool and I didn't want to ruin it :p
