    A bunch of people crash landed on an island. Some got off, while the rest are still there, who are in danger. The ones who left have come back to try and save them.

    ok, that's 34 words, but it's still 2 short sentences...so there :p

    Flashbacks you get to learn about the characters and see how they got to where they are since the first episode it starts right off with the crash.

    The bad guys are a group of people that were already on the island who have lived there for a very long time who basically don't like having the survivors there...the danger is from them and a whole bunch of other shit that would get too complicated to get into :p

    The show has evolved from the simple survivors on an island to a much more dense and complex story through the five seasons. It's worth checking out
