    It's spelled "Purdie?" I had forgotten how it's spelled.

    It has always been said that The End was Ringo's only recorded drum solo. Nobody who knows for sure -- as far as I know, anyway -- has proven that not to be true. But, you never know. Nobody in the know has ever come to the fore and said "This is exactly what happened....."

    I like the Beatles for different reasons through their existence. I like the early drumming the best. As the band continued, the songwriting and innovations grabbed my interest more.

    Does anybody have incontrovertible proof that Paul played drums on "The End?" I'd be interested in seeing that.

    I can actually play that beat! With 2 weeks practice, 2 hours a day.

    He is funny -- and a little nutty. Beautiful Sonor drums -- love the wood finish.
