    indeed...if worst comes to worst they'll at least be able to end it properly. But hopefully, with their new budget in place and if the ratings are good and steady, they'll approve more episodes

    As long as they don't do a Chronicles and write in hope of more. Go into the 13 writing for the potential for an ending, a la `Life`. Don't wrap it all up; leave some storylines. But provide a satsifying conclusion, if it is indeed the end.
