    The quality is pretty good, but the use of codecs is not, hence the HUGE file size. ;) I guess (hope?) you've learned to choose the correct codecs, better utilize them, and not just turn up to the max bit rate.

    Anyhow, thanks for sharing! Some great stuff here.

    Thanks, gHe! Yes, I've gotten better! I don't do a whole lot of ripping anymore, but when I do ... I use the correct codecs. I was a total newbie when I ripped these scenes using AoA.

    I posted another Georgia Adair scene. Big files, too! Is there anyway to fix this?

    I would love to see the others, also. I can re-cap and post in your thread(s) if you like. I've already completed re-caps on both files you've posted. If you want me to post 'em, I can do it.

    FYI, here's the settings I used in virtualDub (in sequential order):
    - Video - full processing on
    - Video - Filters: cropped out black areas (null transform filter with cropping)
    - Video - Filters: resized to 512x384 (smart resize filter / precise bicubic)
    - Video - Compression: XviD video codec @ 768kbps
    - Audio - full processing on
    - Audio - Conversion: converted to 22kHz stereo high quality
    - Audio - Compression: MP3 codec @ 22khz stereo 48kbps
    - Video - Filters: adjusted levels (levels filter at ~0.75) - it tones down the over-exposure (this WILL vary according to each video and MAY NOT be needed on some files)

    The re-capped files are approximately 1/5 of the original file size (~150mb each) and the same quality.

    I'll get to posting the other scenes. They take a LONG time to upload, as I'm sure you can imagine!
