Chillin, been a crazy long day, got up at 2am to drive to Denver (still missed the early flight), caught a plane to Houston, drove south-west to Rosenberg to a customers factory to help them sort a few issues with some equipment we supplied a couple of months ago.
Sleep has been a bit of a rare thing in the last day or so

I rode one before. I was in last gear on the airport road here. here all the roads are gravel. I was cruising up nice. I gunned the throttle in last gear and gunned the throttle the front tires still came off the ground! I was revving it pretty fast too so it was so wild!

Inuk, sled riding must be one hell of a kick, you have 160hp? 105mph 1/4, impressive!
My quad has only 50hp, weighs 380lb approx, 70mph flat out, can scare myself sh!tless with it all the same

 

yup 160 ponies, 105 in a 1/4 mile.

my next engine is going to be a 900 open modified 180 horsepower in the same body. going to be fucking nuts!

I've had a 700cc that scared me, I've had another 800 that scared me, this one really scared me. wicked fucking fast!

 

The rappy is pretty light in the front end, have modded the suspension which helps immensely, but can lift the front end in 3rd gear no sweat.
We ride on the sand a lot, mostly 2nd or 3rd gear, 15-50mph in an instant, while drifting & or wheelieing, a real gas!

 

I'm from New Zealand, so yup, downunder is home when I get to be there.
Really hanging out to get back home again, been away far too long

we went out hunting the last couple of days. my Cousin was leading the trail. I was driving a 550cc fan cooled sled. sled was topping out full throttle at 60 miles per hour, jetted very rich.

out on the ocean and the tundra I was trying to keep up with my cousin who has a 550cc fan cooled that's geared differently, he was topping off at 70, most of the time I was keeping up with him at full throttle. in the smoother parts he was leaving me behind. was pretty fucking wild man!

Want to get into some of that myself.
We have a lot of dense bush in NZ, I want to get into bow-hunting which is brilliant in the kind of bush & terrain we have (often can be within 40ft of the target, much further than that & you can't see thru the bush).
Would be damn hard-core to bow-hunt the caribou you do, what range typically are you getting them at?

 

on a street bike I've gone 130 miles per hour.

that fucking scared me!

was on a highway straightway that I was used to driving in college. no traffic, put her in overdrive. saw I hit 130, still climbing freaked out and let off the throttle!

 

the hunting is best! the racing is fun but hunting is so much more fun!

I'd love to bow hunt!
