I'll tell him you said so. I'm going to send you 2 more songs(no vocals) but you don't have to download them now. They are a little more experimental.

No. We're just a recording-for-fun band. But we do have a CD out. I played live with the bass player in another band way back. We had a really good band then.

But there is no earning potential with that band -- or the old band, either. It's almost impossible to make a living as a musician now.

Plus, we all have jobs that would conflict with rehearsals and live playing.

    Inca, SS, PM, Inuk,
    evening to you all.
Was a sh!t day, friggn tired from long day previous, was supposed to have an early start, but slept thru alarm, so customer a little grumpy when i got to site.

Spent a couple of hours getting first of 5 machines running smoothly how it should be & code upgraded to latest version.
Started to work on the next one, but every time I get focussed there would be a case jamb-up, or a dropped box. (I will have to post some pics tomorrow so you get to understand what these little systems are i guess)
I go & sort it out, get it all running, looks sweet, go back to what I was doing, & whammo, jambs up again.
Finally get totally pissed off (I'm 6'5", 255lb) so people around were looking nervous.
Normally i'm pretty cool with whatever happens, but as I said, I'm a bit tired...........

Stop the machine, say sorry, it won't go again till I find what is wrong (no-one argued, no idea why...........)
Find that there are 2 photoeyes that if either one is made both signals come on, on the robot.
test all field wiring, work my way back to the robot cabinet (requires a lot of crouching, crawling, reaching under & around things (did I mention not being short)
Eventually decide problem must be either robot I/O card, or cable from field termination to robot I/O card.
test the i/o on a couple of spare inputs, all works fine, modify program so they can run, & I can get out of there before everything closes, & I miss out on dinner.

Smart-ass customers project engineer wants me to get parts out of another machine to test what is the issue.
So I swap the cable, & put the i/o/ wiring back to original, still the same.
So I put it back how I had it, but find another issue, one of the photoeyes, now it's input isn't being triggered by the first one, isn't consistently seeing boxes.
So, I pull it apart, modify the bracket, re-align the p/e
    It all now works.
Can you stay till the next shift comes on?
    NO!
It works, & I'm leaving, see you in the morning..................
& sure enough everything is closed, so I've had no dinner

Not in the past couple years. My car is too ruined to make it the 50-mile round trip. The last time I recorded with them, it was on a night off for me. I fell asleep driving there, and back home too. Almost got myself killed.

Yup, the gear was all installed 2-3 months ago, by the guy who is the JMP (our company) project manager for this customer, & he was giving us all a hard time about how fast it all went in etc.
They asked for someone to visit as they were having some problems.
I'm the only one in the states at this point, so here I am

If he took a bit longer like the rest of us do, probably wouldn't be here now.
I think he's getting the message, I sent a couple of "terse" emails his way....;)

Oh, as I got into town, saw a Sonic drive-in Burger place, all lit up, other cars parked there.
Thought sweet, that will suffice for food.
Pulled in, pushed the call button, waited, tried again, & again.
Eventually got pissed off, got out of the car & walked in.
Scared the bejesus out of one of the girls, oh, no we're closed.

So why are all the lights out there still on, & are you going to let the other 5-6 vehicles waiting out there that you ain't going to cook them some dinner....................???

Don't think I'll bother visiting there again

The hard part has to be not knowing the origin and having to scientifically test everything till you find the glitch.

Sounds like a day to turn a man to the bottle, although given your luck you probably wouldn't find a liqueur store open.
