It's over-egging that's destroyed comedy, for me. Leaving just enough of a joke for the audience to figure it out for themselves was funny. Explaining a joke and hammering it over and over just sucks all the humour out of it.

 

Sarcasm runs thick in my blood, but I can never use it. They frown on it at work -- asswipes don't get sarcasm. So I've had to re-train myself. They're turning Americans into robots. Shit.

 

My sister-in-law has a £15k car loan, £9k credit card bill and a £148k mortgage.

I have everything people in debt have only I saved up for it first and had it 3-4 months later.

I only have a small mortage because some stupid twat, desperate to live in London payed over the odds for my flat.
