I couldn't get the "harley" thing at all until I visited the USA for the first time.
The roads I normally ride on are narrow & winding, & try as I did, I couldn't see the fun in trying to hustle a bike like that round those roads.
However when the GPS says continue 289km (until the next intersection) & the roads are wide & straight, a bike like mine will kill you long before you get to the end of the road, unless you have a great want to meet the local constabulary..............

Would still rather be on a bike, almost any bike, rather than the rental cars I end up driving while working here.
Had a spin on a friends Hayabusa a week or so ago, was so nice to get back on a bike again, but made me miss mine even more

I know the sport bikes are much more nimble than a highway hog, but I enjoy riding secondary mountain roadways - try to do it at least once a year. We have a place here called the Tail of the Dragon in Deals Gap - 318 curves in 11 miles. Like I said, I know it is different throwing around a 900 # machine as opposed to a 400 to 500 # machine with the same or more horsepower. It did take me a while, especially the low end torque!
