    I have worked primarily in highway and hydrology, have the same employer for 40 years, been City Engineer and Public Works Director, now a supervising engineer over municipal capital projects. Should retire in about 7 more years.

    I started in school in electrical engineering, but me and electrons did not get along so well. I had no problems in the traditional courses that statics, dynamic, strength of materials, etc. so I looked into both civil and mechanical. When I saw that mechanical required a second 5-hour thermodynamic class, I went into civil. :rofl:

    funny how the decisions we make influence where we end up.
    Thermo wasn't my greatest hour, too busy riding bikes & trying to control hormones at that stage.
    Electrical stuff is piss easy, so I tended to ignore it, should have done my electrical trade, electricians get well paid for easy work, & most of them still stuff it up.
    I have to tidy up a lot of their work when instaling equipment, & it doesn't matter how much you tell them, they just carry on regardless making the same stupid mistakes

    laters on hayd, it was great to see some Canadians raise the Cup!

    I let the bottom half of my goatee grow for a few weeks first dragon, then let my beard grow for like 7 weeks. it was long! lol
